Josh Poe is a tenant organizer and researcher. He has over 20 years of experience with organizing and housing policy. Originally from Eastern Kentucky, he began organizing with Washington Citizens Action in Seattle, WA in the early 2000s. He currently organizes with the Louisville Tenants Union and nationally as part of the Homes Guarantee campaign. His research and organizing are focused on building powerful, multiracial bases of tenants in the U.S. south to combat racial capitalism and make housing a guaranteed human right.
